Keltasirkku

English text is the bottom of Finnish text.

Kuvissa on sangen yleinen keltasirkku (Emberiza citrinella). Kuvattu 3.8. Hailuodossa.

24.10 in Finland (in place called Luvia) found a Chestnut bunting. I wasn’t there, so I didn’t see it. The last Chestnut Bunting sighting in Finland dates back to 2002. I didn’t see it.

I thought, however, to post some photos of Bunting. The bird is very common Yellowhammer. Photos from the day 3.8.

  11. They are designed to blend in, aren't they? You did well to get clear photos.

  13. Yellowhammer is encouraging - it seems that I see fewer of them every time I visit Europe.
