Hailuoto

Hailuodosta kuvia heinäkuun lopulta ja elokuulta.

These images I shot in Hailuoto (in July and August). Hailuoto is an island. More information on Hailuoto:

Yard sale ad.

Hylätyt vanhat rakennukset ovat surullisia. Abandoned old buildings are sad. Yes, yes they can be sad. Can you feel it?

Very old building and plastic chair.

Näitä en tunnistanut itse, vaikka kuva on ottamani. Ovat nuoria mustavikloja (Tringa erythropus). Eivät pesi Hailuodossa. Olivat muuttomatkalla etelään.

These I do not identified myself. They are young Spotted Redshanks. They don’t nesting in Hailuoto. They were migrating to the South.

  7. I know I would enjoy Hailuodosta. It looks so quiet and peaceful and is probably very good for birding? Like your photos. the Spotted Redshanks visit us in the autumn but not in any great numbers.

    1. Kiitos kommentista Anne. Keväällä ja alkukesällä Hailuodossa näkee todella paljon lintuja. Elokuussa iloa tuottivat nimenomaan nuo pohjoisesta etelään matkanneet muuttajat, jotka hetkeksi pysähtyivät Hailuotoon.
