Puukiipijä - Treecreeper

English below

En ole koskaan onnistunut saamaan kunnon kuvaa puukiipijästä. Epäonnistuneita kuvia kuitenkin. Viime viikolla useampana iltana ja aamuna sain seurata puukiipijää omenapuussa. Sen suojaväri on aivan huikean hieno. Nämä epäonnistuneet kuvat otin ikkunan lävitse. Kuvat saa isommaksi klikkaamalla jotakin kuvaa. Pitäkää huolta itsestänne!

I've never been able to get a good photo of a Eurasian treecreeper. Last week, several nights and mornings, I saw treecreeper in an apple tree. Its camouflage color is absolutely amazing. These failed photos I took through the window. Stay safe!

  1. How it hides on the tree, there are wonderful photos of this bird. I find it interesting so stay tuned, maybe you'll catch him differently.

  2. Fairly common but inconspicuous (plumage blends well with bark)
You have to do your best to take a good picture!
    Enjoy your weekend!
    Greetings!

  3. Hello Anu,
Despite taken through the window, the photos have turned out quite well.
It is a difficult bird to photograph.
    Best regards Irma

  4. I saw it for the first time last year in Liesjärvi, not far from Somero. Funny and so clever!

  5. Hello Anu,
The Treecreeper was a great find. I missed our Brown Creeper this year, I could not find one. Wonderful photos, they do tend to blend in with the tree. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend! Take care and stay safe! PS, thank you for the visit and comment on my blog!

  6. Me too.Its very hard to take photos of Treecreepers. I never know where they might land and as soon as I focus they fly to another tree.

  7. The translator is a bit weird -- I think your bird is a tree creeper? (It says "wooden climber," which I think is not a bird name). They are really hard to photograph!

  10. Puukiipijä on tosi nopea lintu liikkumaan. Minä koitin eilen kuvata lintua.

  11. Hienot kuvat!

  12. If I do get a good bird photo, it's luck. :)
They are so hard and fast to capture but you've got to keep on trying. Have a wonderful weekend.

  14. There is no doubt that treecreepers are very difficult to photograph as they camouflage so well against the bark. Well done with these efforts!

  23. I can see why they are hard to find. I had to blow up the image to find it in the tree scar. - Margy

  25. Niitä ei ole helppo linnuilla hakea, mutta nämä ovat silti mukavia tarttua :-)

  26. I saw it when I clicked on your pictures ... it’s like a puzzle game for children (can you find the hidden bird?) ))). The creeper really is a sweet little bird and I bet it is fun to watch it go up and down the tree trunk. I imagine not too many people actually see it ... he is so well camouflaged.
