Puolipilvistä - Partly cloudy

English below

Menneinä kevätviikkoina on tullut otettua aamuisin valokuvia linnuista. Kuvia on kertynyt, enkä ehdi niitä postata blogiini. Postaan myöhemmin.

Sinisorsa/Mallard

Tässä muutamia kuvia eiliseltä reissulta Suomenojalla. Ehdottomasti paras havis sieltä oli liejukana. Siitähän ei minulla ole yhtään kunnollista kuvaa.

Tukkasotka/Tufted Duck

Sää oli puolipilvinen, ts. välillä aurinko paistoi täydeltä ja välillä oli hämärää - kuvaamisen kannalta haasteellista. Kuvat saa isommaksi klikkaamalla kuvaa.

Söpö telkänpoikanen oli eksynyt väärään seuraan.

The cute chick of Goldeneye was lost in the wrong company.

Lapasorsa/Northern Shoveler

Harmaasorsa/Gadwall

In the past spring weeks, I have taken photos of birds in the mornings. There are a lot of photos and I don’t have time to post them on my blog. I'll post photos later.

Here are some photos I took yesterday at Suomenoja. Definitely the best sighting from there was a Common Moorhen. I don't have any good photo of that.

The weather was partly cloudy, i.e. sometimes the sun was shining full and sometimes it was dim - challenging to shoot  photos.

  11. I clicked to see an enlarged version of your photos. The lighting is, indeed, mysterious and lovely.

  13. Wonderful photos of all the different water birds! I hope the baby finds his family. Yes, my 'American Eskimo' is the same as German Spitz. I don't know why the name has changed!

  14. I wonder how the little goldeneye came to swim with the gulls. Mothers usually keep track of tehm. :)
Loved to see the Northern Shoveler, we had a couple a month ago but they dissapeard :( Maybe too deep water after the rain.

  15. Yes, that kind of lighting is challenging but I would not be able to tell you were having problems with it because your pictures are just fine! I always like seeing more than one species of bird floating along together in harmony. The little ducks are sweet with the storks (?) and other larger birds. Fun to see. .
