Aamulintuilua

English text is the bottom of post.

Harmaahaikaroita/Grey heron

Ruokokerttuset ja satakielet myös lauloivat aamulla kuuluvasti.

Rantasipi/Common sandpiper

Näin sitruunavästäräkin, mutta en oikeastaan muuta tavanomaisesta poikkeavaa. Suokukkoja oli rannalla runsaasti.

Common wagtail

It has been the year's best time to birding and I had a flu (bronchitis), but now it is over and I am healthy. There are some rare birds in Lammassaari conservation area. I managed to hear the Grasshopper Warbler, but I didn’t see it. The other rare bird, the Penduline Tit - I didn’t hear it and I didn’t see it.

The photos I shot this morning in Lammasaari. This year it seems that there are a lot of Common Rosefinches. There are a lot of Sedge warblers, Nightingales and Ruffs. This morning I saw Citrine wagtail. The other birds I saw were very common birds.

  16. Stay well! It is always terrible to be sick p, but especially in the Spring! The birds you saw are beautiful. The sandpiper looks like he was ”talking” to you!
