Vielä on hiljaista - It's still quiet

 

Hyönteissyöjiä ei ole juuri tullut vielä. Järvet ja suot ovat melko jäisiä yhä.

Kiersin Salpausselän suokierroksen. Hieno aamu, mutta muuttolinnut puuttuivat maisemasta.

Insectivores have hardly come yet. The lakes and swamps are still quite icy. One morning I walked marked trails in the marshes. Great morning, but the migratory birds were missing from the landscape.

 

 

 

Eräänä aamuna kävelin Okeroisten peltoja katselemassa. Ei juuri muuttolintuja sielläkään.

One morning I was walking around the fields of Okeroinen. Not much migratory birds there either.

Hei jälleen - Hello again

Olen edelleen elossa, ja kaikki on ok. En ole sairastanut koronaa. Vuoden verran on ollut paljon sattumuksia. On ollut terveyshuolia, olen muuttanut kahdesti ja nyt asun Lahdessa. Äiti kuoli syksyllä.

 

Täällä Lahdessa olen ehtinyt lintuilla taas. Entiten iloa talvella tuottivat Potilanjoella talvehtineet koskikarat. Lehtopöllöjä olen havainnut kolme. Nuolihaukka on paras haukkahavainto tälle vuodelle.

Haviksia on tullut täällä enemmän kuin aiemmin Helsingissä kevättalvina. Toisaalta, täällä Lahdessa en ole vielä tehnyt vesilintuhavaintoja juurikaan, koska järvet ovat yhä jäässä.

Google estää kommentointini muissa blogeissa profiilillani. Tämä ongelma alkoi Lahteen muuttamisen jälkeen. Jostain syystä google ei pysty identifioimaan minua minuksi. Toivottavasti tämä ongelma pian korjaantuu.

Laulurastas/Song Thrush

 

I'm still alive and everything is ok. I haven't had a corona. There have been a lot of coincidences for a year. I have had some health problems over the year, I have moved twice and now I live in Lahti. The mother died in the fall.

Here in Lahti I have had time with birdwhatching again. The greatest joy in the winter was the sight of the White throated dippers that overwintered in the Potilanjoki River Potila. The Eurasian Hobby is the best hawk sighting this year.

There have been more bird sightings here in Lahti than before in Helsinki in the spring winter. On the other hand, here in Lahti, I have not yet made much waterfowl sightings, because the lakes are still frozen.

Google blocks my comments on other blogs with my profile. This problem started after moving to Lahti. For some reason google can't identify me as me. Hopefully this problem will be fixed soon.
