Viikinmäellä
näyttää olevan useita lintujen ruokintapaikkoja. Se on hieno juttu, kun ihmiset
ruokkivat ahkerasti lintuja.

jossa nämä kuvat otin, on sellainen, johon joku kaataa runsaasti siemeniä kivien
päälle. Paikka on varmasti lintujen ruokataivas.

Kuitenkin
hieman huolestuttaa, kun siemenet eivät ole ruokintalaitteessa. Syödessään siemeniä kiveltä, linnut kakkivat samalla. Siten siemenet ovat kakkaisia.
Linnut siis joutuvat syömään toistensa ulosteita samalla kun nokkivat siemeniä.
Riskinä on, että linnut sairastuvat. Sairaat linnut kuolevat. Toivotaan, että
nämä linnut eivät sairastuisi.

There seem to be
several bird feeding places in Viikinmäki. I shot these photos yesterday in one feeding place. It is a great thing
that people feed birds. In that feeding place someone
pour plenty of seeds over stones. The place is definitely a birds food heaven. However, I am a little worried when the seeds
are not on the feeding device. When
birds eat seeds from the stone, they poop in the same time. Thus, the seed are
not clean. The birds therefore eat each other's feces while they eat the seeds.
The risk is that the birds get sick. Sick birds die. Let’s hope that these
birds don’t get sick.
