Eilen ja tänään on paistanut aurinko. Tässä kuvia eiliseltä kävelyltä omassa lähiympäristössäni Viikinmäellä. Näin mustarastaista, tali- ja sinitiaisia, varpusia, keltasirkkuja, vihervarpusia, punatulkkuja, urpiaisia, variksia ja käpytikan.
Yesterday and today the sun has shined. Here are photos from yesterday's walk in my local surroundings in Viikinmäki. I saw blackbirds, Great tits, Blue tits, House sparrows, Yellowhammers, Eurasian siskins, Eurasian bullfinch, Common redpolls, Hooded crows and Great spotted woodpecker.
Kuu oli taivaalla. Alemmasta kuvasta muutin valoarvot.
The moon was in the sky. From the lower photo, I changed the light values.
Kohtasin pienen urpiaisparven. I saw a little kettle of Redpoll.
Tässä olen menossa kalliolle, joka on sama kallio kuin ensimmäinen tämän postauksen kalliokuva. Tässä olen menossa kallion päälle. Ensimmäinen kuva oli alhaalta kuvattu.
Here I am going to the rock, which is the same rock as the first rock photo of this post.
This is where I'm going on top of the cliff. The first photo was shot from below.

Hello Anu,
VastaaPoistaLooks like a wonderful place for a walk. Your bird sightings sound great, I like the cute Redpoll! Great series of landscape and bird photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, stay safe! Enjoy your weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Upea kallio. Siellä on ollut useita lintuja näkyvillä. Pitäisi lähteä kiertämään lähialueen peltoja, joutsenia voisi näkyä. Onko siellä paljon ihmisiä liikkeellä?
VastaaPoistaHello Anu . It's interesting that you have seen an irruption of Coal Tits. I guess some may make to Britain but probably not here on the west coast.
VastaaPoistaThank you for your comment, Phil.
PoistaI have read that in last Septemper there were over 17 000 coal tits during one week in Hanko Bird observatory. Coal tits also flew into windows here in Helsinki (Also in the house where I live).
I read from the Birdlife Finland web-page that the last time Coal tits wandered this hard was 11 years ago.

VastaaPoistaI really love those photos of the rocks!
VastaaPoistaI still have not seen the redpoll this season. I really hope they will show up. I miss them. You have great shots. :)
VastaaPoistaWhat an exciting place to hike. The terrane looks very rocky and interesting to navigate. Your photos of the birds are beautiful.
VastaaPoistaHello,
VastaaPoistanice places in your neighborhood.
The Redpolls are small and cute.
(I found out that Erik Johan Löfgren painted the altarpiece in Somero). :)
Hello. Thanks for letting me know about that altarpiece. That altarpiece is great.
PoistaLovely birds and wonderful to have some sunshine this time of year! I hope you get more days of birding before the snows come.
VastaaPoistaHienon näköisiä kallioita. Ihana urpiainen!
VastaaPoistaA lovely collection of photographs.
VastaaPoistaAll the best Jan
Hello all!
VastaaPoistaThank you so much for your lovely comments.
Take care!
Hello Anu: Redpolls have been showing up here too, for the first time in a couple of years. They are so delightful and I am always happy when I see them. I will be expecting them at my bird feeders when the weather gets nasty - if that is ever going to happen this year!
