Hello Anu, I love your pretty birds and photos. Both the Redwing and the Tern are great birds. Thank you for sharing your critter post and for linking up! Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Hello David. Thank you for correcting the correct definition. I wondered a lot this morning which one it was and I thought it was a common tern based on the length of its bill. I was wrong again. Arctic tern and Common tern are difficult to identify. Thank you for the correction.
Hi Anu! I hope all is well. I enjoyed the first two pictures (the redwing thrush) so much. In the first one, he is hiding his identifying redwing, but you sighted and photographed him -- then he turned so you could see that bright red wing. It reminds me of the value of patience in identifying birds. Thank you for all the birds.
Kiitos vierailustasi blogissani. Ihanaa viikkoa.
These are very pretty bird photos, dear Anu! 🥰😍 All the best and lovely October days, Traude https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2024/10/weltreise-2024-sw-usa-roadtrip-teil-2.html

The bird labelled Common Tern looks like and Arctic Tern to me.

VastaaPoistaOletko nähnyt muuttavia hanhia? Valkoposkihanhia on nyt tosi paljon liikkeellä.
VastaaPoistaHei Anne. Ylitse lentää lähes päivittäin hanhiparvia. Useasti vain kaakatus kuuluu.
