Kivitasku

It is dark and rainy. The camera has not been with me when I have been out. These photos I shot 21.6. The bird is Northern Wheatear.

  3. I remember many years ago, in Wales, finding a Northern Wheatear, at the time a first for me, and I was pretty excited because I thought I had found a rarity, but when I told others I realized it was not unexpected! Still a great little bird though!

    1. Hello David. Thank you for your comment. The northern wheatear is very common bird in Europe. However, Finnish breeding population have declined during last years. It think, that all in the Europe the situation is same: Northern Wheatear population is decreasing.

    1. Kiitos Sussi. Toisissa paikoissa niitä ei enää paljon näe. Niiden lukumäärä on pienentynyt.
