aamulla Viikissä parhain havainto oli mustapyrstökuiri – jota en olisi edes
havainnut ilman muiden harrastajien apua. Kahlaajia ei ole vielä kovin paljon.

Today morning in the Viikki
Nature Reserve area, the best bird I saw, was the Black-tailed Godwit. The
other birders helped me to see it. Quite a big
flock of cormorants is trying to conquer the Grey Herons nesting trees.
Interesting to see how it goes.
Waders are still
not very much. I have only 59 bird species in my year list.

VastaaPoistaI like seeing your returning birds Anu. I’m glad Spring is coming. I hope the cormorants do not disturb the heron nests. I like the goosanders. That poor swan, I wonder what happened to it?
