Olen tällä viikolla useana aamuna herännyt jo yöllä
klo neljältä. Ennen viittä olen mennyt lintuilemaan. Viikin
luonnonsuojelualueella lenkkeilijät ja pyöräilijät aloittavat hieman ennen
kuutta, joten sinne on mentävä aikaisin, jotta ehtii nähdä ja kuulla lintuja,
ennen kuin yleinen härdelli alkaa. Aamuyöllä ei tarvitse stressata
turvaväleistä, koska ihmisiä on vähän liikkeellä.
Nämä kuvat otin keskiviikkona. Lintuja oli paljon.
Tuona aamuna mukavimmat havaintoni olivat
pikkujoutsen ja heinätavi. Tässä postauksessa nyt kuvia vain lapasorsasta (Spatula clypeata). Se on hauskan näköinen lintu.
Klobbenin saaressa pesinyt merikotkapari sai kolme
poikasta. Se on suuri määrä poikasia. Ensimmäisessä kuvassa on Klobben.
Merikotkakin näkyy kuvassa saaren vasemmassa laidassa pesän päällä istumassa.
Kyseisessä pienessä saaressa pesii merikotkan lisäksi harmaahaikaroita ja
merimetsoja.Kuvan saa isommaksi klikkaamalla kuvaa.
Greylag goose and Northern Shoveler. Merihanhia ja lapasorsa. |
This week I am woke up several morning at 4.00 am. Before
5.00 I’ve gone birding. You don't have to stress
about safety distance in the early hours (there are no peoples so early). These
are some photos I took on Wednesday in Viikki nature reserve area. There were a
lot of birds. That morning my nicest sighting was a Tundra swan and Garganey. In
this post are now only photos of Northern Shoveler. It is a funny looking bird.
I have written in previous post about White-tailed
eagles nesting in Helsinki. Those eagles have three chicks now. That’s a lot of
chicks. Usually the white-tailed eagle only gets one or two chicks.
The first photo shows Klobben’s island. White-tailed eagle can also be seen in the photo on the
left side of the island sitting on the nest. In that small island are nesting
also Gray herons and Great cormorants.

Great and fascinating to experience the bird life at this time. I see the nest of the sea eagle and three pieces are a lot right.
VastaaPoistaThe other birds inspire me too, I love to watch and their photos. The barn and this lighting conditions beautiful.
I wish you a nice weekend take care of yourself and stay healthy!

Loving all your photos. Serenity. And wonderful, quiet hours of early morning!
VastaaPoistaI have never seen a Lapasorsa yet...very nice.
VastaaPoistaHappy weekend, Anu!
Lovely looking Shoveler, and great news on the White-tailed Eagle and its chicks.
VastaaPoistaThat must be wonderful to have nesting Sea Eagles. Interesting about wagtails. Do you have both White Wagtails and Pied Wagtails? Here the Pied is a resident, the White a migrant.
VastaaPoistaHello Phil. Thank you for your comment. We have White wagtail. The darker subspecies, Pied wagtail, is not resident here. Sometimes you can see a hybrid here: alba x yarrellii.
PoistaHello,
VastaaPoistaIt is a good idea to get outside early and avoid the crowds. You saw some great birds, ducks and geese. I like the comical Northern Shoveler and the Greylag geese are cute too. I can see the eagle nest, very cool. Great series of photos. Take care! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend! PS, your visit and comment are very appreciated.

VastaaPoistaLapasorsat ovat hassun näköisiä. Miten hienoa, että lähdet aikaiseen aamusta luontoon! Pitäisi itsekin tehdä niin. Lintujen laulu on varmaan mahtavaa aamulla.
VastaaPoista...Anu, these images of the landscape, barn and birds are gorgeous. The first one is my favorite!!!
VastaaPoistaBeautiful captures of the birds, ducks and geese. The early morning light is beautiful, I love the first photo, it's very peaceful looking.

Hei Anu! Impressive that you get up so early to photograph birds!
VastaaPoistaI love your birds. They are so different from ours!
VastaaPoistaThe photography is beautiful, and the range of waterfowl on these northern lakes is impressive. A Northern Shoveler is always a great find.
