Lähellä kotiani, Viikinmäen
kallioiden välissä on joutomaata, jossa pesii muun muassa taskuja, kerttuja,
tiklejä ja punavarpusia. Tänä vuonna siellä pesii tyllikin.
Tylli
on kahlaaja, mutta se tosiaankin pesii jopa joutomaalla, vaikka vesistöä ei ole
ihan lähellä.
Nämä
kuvat kivitaskusta (Oenanthe oenanthe)
ja tyllistä (Charadrius hiaticula) pikkutyllistä (Charadrius dubius)
otin noin viikko sitten, 22.5. Valitsin sellaisia kuvia, joissa näkyy kallion
upeat juonteet.
Northern Wheatear/Kivitasku |
There is a wasteland in Viikinmäki (near my home)
where are nesting a lot of birds like Sylviidae, Northern Wheatear, Whinchat, European
Goldfinch and Common Rosefinch. This year there is nesting also Common Ringed
Plover Little Ringed Plover. Little Ringed Plover is a wader, but it does nesting even in
wasteland though the water is not very close.
These photos I shot about week ago (22.5). I chose photos that show
the great lines of the rock. I love these rocks.
Linking to Saturday's Critters
Thank you Eileen
Hello Anu,
VastaaPoistaBeautiful series of photos of the different birds.

Hello Anu,
VastaaPoistaThe Ringed Plover is so sweet and great captures of the Wheatear. Wonderful photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend! PS, thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog.
Hello, I have never seen any of the two yet.
VastaaPoistaThey are lovely.
Have a nice weekend!
Tylliä en ole vielä tänä vuona nähnytkään.
VastaaPoistaHow utterly wonderful to have these two species nesting near to you. I am sure you realize what a special privilege it is.
VastaaPoistaHi Anu. Beautiful photos of the plovers on the rocks. We have plovers too at the moment in the Netherlands. Have a nice weekend.
VastaaPoista...wonderful captures Anu, thanks for sharing. Take care!
VastaaPoistaheelo Anu. If you don't mind, I think that this is not "wasteland" if there are birds like Northern Wheatear, Whinchat, European Goldfinch and Common Rosefinch nesting there. It seems like a very valuable area that should be preserved.
VastaaPoistaUpeat kuvat!
VastaaPoistaTylli on harvinaista herkkua :-)
Beautiful photos, a lovely wee bird.
VastaaPoistaHave a great weekend.
The Wheatear look great against those rocks.

Now these photos of this cutee is so adorable! He looks like a cute flying penguin to my eyes :) Sending warm greetings from the Philippines!
VastaaPoistawould love to see a plover but never seen them in my area. :( But I have seen 2 Northern Wheatear, sadly 2 males :( no female.
VastaaPoistaThank you so much for sharing these wonderful photographs Anu, a joy to see.
VastaaPoistaAll the best Jan
Sweet birds! I like the rocks too.
VastaaPoistaKomeita lintuja ne ovat nämäkin. Oikeinko tuo tylli pesiikin siellä?
VastaaPoistaHei Kirlah. Kiitos kommentista. Tyllin käyttäytyminen viittaa siihen, että se pesii siellä. Yritän ensi viikolla tarkistaa tilannetta. Tuo itse asiassa on pikkutylli, ts. tein määritysvirheen aluksi.
PoistaHow wonderful to have many birds living near your home. I enjoyed your photos immensely. Thank you!
VastaaPoistaHello All. Thank you for your visit. I love your comments.
VastaaPoistaKiitos kaikille ihanista kommenteista!
