Edellisessä
postauksessa kirjoitin tyllistä. Identifikaatio oli väärä. Kyseessä oli
pikkutylli. Pikkutyllillä on keltaiset silmärenkaat. Tyllillä niitä ei ole.
In the last
post, I wrote about Common Ringed Plover. The identification was wrong. The bird was
Little Ringed Plover (Charadrius dubius). The Little Ringed Plover got a yellow
eye rings. The Ringed Plover doesn’t have them.
Merihanhia kuvasin 19.5. Greylag Goose I photographed 19.5

Hello,Anu
VastaaPoistaBeautiful photos of the Geese! The babies are adorable. Is the Black/white goose a Barnacle Goose? Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great weekend. PS, thanks for the visit and comment.
Hello Eileen.
PoistaThank you for your lovely comment. Yes, the black-white goose is a Barnacle Goose.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hello! Wonderful pictures and great captures of those beautiful birds!
VastaaPoistaLike the last photo! Enjoy your weekend! Stay safe!
Dimi...
The last photo is especially nice. That species is the ancestor of most domestic geese -- the wild geese in North America are rather different.
VastaaPoistabe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I rather like Greylags. They are great personalities. And of course, wonderful protective parents.
VastaaPoistathe wild geese are wonderful photos!!!

VastaaPoistaHello Anu,
VastaaPoistaLovely photos of the different species of geese, especially the last one with the cute goslings.
Greetings from Sri Lanka!
Pretty geese! I love most the family in the last photo! So cute!
VastaaPoistaNe on upeita lintuja, vaikka näyttävätkin vihaiselta, ja niiden ääni ei ole mikään kaunis. Merihanhia pesii myös täällä joella, ihan outoa.
VastaaPoistaHei Anne. Me ihmiset näemme/tulkitsemme asioita niin hykerryttävän eritavoin :)
Ihan tosi. Siksi tykkään niistä niin valtavasti. Ne ovat kauniita ja rauhallisia.
On ihana, kun me ihmiset koemme asioita eritavoin. Rikastuttaa elämää!
...your last image is heavenly!!!

Your geese are handsome ... so attractive. I wish we had some of that variety here. I also really like the marshy wetlands ... your pictures show the beauty of them so well, especially the one with the goose family out for a swim.
