Hailuodon etelärannalla sijaitsee Pöllä, jonka ranta-alue pohjoisrannan tavoin on suojeltu alue.
On the southern shore of island Hailuoto lies Pöllä, whose shore area, like the northern shore, is a protected area.
Pöllässä on myös lentokenttä. The airport is also located in Pöllä

What beautiful photos! I always wish I could visit and see sightings like this. Not sure about that airport though but I wish I was brave enough to travel more!
VastaaPoistaOh how wonderful! I was on Hailuoto as a young woman (in 1985). There's even a post on my blog that shows photos from there. (Tuula, who I met on my trip, took these photos. I liked the naturalness of the small island. I also really like your photos of Hailuoto and they bring back good memories. Unfortunately I don't have any bird photos from there.
