Tiistai aamuna kävin kävelyllä Myllysaaressa (Lahti), joka on pieni saari Vesijärvellä.
On Tuesday morning I went for a walk in Myllysaari (Lahti), which is a small island in Lake Vesijärvi.

Tänä kesänä västäräkkejä on joka paikassa paljon. Pesinnät ovat näköjään onnistuneet poikkeuksellisen hyvin. Myllysaaressakin västäräkkejä oli runsaasti. En kylläkään valokuvannut niitä.
This summer, there are a lot of White wagtails everywhere. The nestings seem to have been exceptionally successful. Even in island Myllysaari, there were plenty of White wagtails. I didn't photograph them.

VastaaPoistaThank you for your comment! I'm always happy to meet bloggers from Finland. Many years ago (1985) I spent a great holiday in Finland. However, I wasn't in Lahti (and I didn't visit Helsinki until much later). I was only in the east / northeast - Turku, Oulu, Hailuoto, Kemijärvi.
I enjoyed watching birds and enjoying nature with you in Myllysaari.
