Kävin keskiviikko aamuna kävelyllä Alasenjärven (Lahti) rannalla.
Wednesday morning I went for a walk on the shore of Lake Alasenjärvi (Lahti).
Lintuja ei ollut paljon näkyvillä. Näin härkälinnun, laulujoutsenen, käpytikan, sepelkyyhkyn, västäräkkejä, sinisorsia ja rantasipin. Ja kuulin mustapääkertun, hippiäisen sekä laulurastaan lauluja, muutamia mainitaseni. Kuvat saa isommiksi klikkaamalla hiirellä kuvaa.
There were not many birds in sight. I saw the Red-Necked Grebe, the Whooper Swan, the Great Spotted Woodpecker, White wagtail, Mallards and the Common Sandpiper. And I heard the songs of the Blackcap, the Goldcrest and the Song Thrush, to name a few.

I love your photo of the sun rays shining through the trees! It is always nice to see the birds yet I enjoy hearing their songs even if I don't see them. Maybe the next time you go, you will see the birds that you heard but did not see on this outing!

VastaaPoistaIt looks like a very beautiful area for a walk. Birds are a little difficult to see at this time of year, but there is so much more to interest a curious naturalist, and of course the forest is wonderful and calming too. It was enjoyable coming along with you.
