This summer, there are a lot of White wagtails everywhere. The nestings seem to have been exceptionally successful. Even in island Myllysaari, there were plenty of White wagtails. I didn't photograph them.

Vain vähän lintuja näkyvillä - Only a few birds visible

 

Kävin keskiviikko aamuna kävelyllä Alasenjärven (Lahti) rannalla.

Wednesday morning I went for a walk on the shore of Lake Alasenjärvi (Lahti).

 

 

Lintuja ei ollut paljon näkyvillä. Näin härkälinnun, laulujoutsenen, käpytikan, sepelkyyhkyn, västäräkkejä, sinisorsia ja rantasipin. Ja kuulin mustapääkertun, hippiäisen sekä laulurastaan lauluja, muutamia mainitaseni. Kuvat saa isommiksi klikkaamalla hiirellä kuvaa.

There were not many birds in sight. I saw the Red-Necked Grebe, the Whooper Swan, the Great Spotted Woodpecker, White wagtail, Mallards and the Common Sandpiper. And I heard the songs of the Blackcap, the Goldcrest and the Song Thrush, to name a few.
